Something old, something new
Something borrowed, something blue
And a silver sixpence in her shoe
This wedding tradition came from the Victorian Era in Great Britain and is still a tradition that has never lost steam. Each item in this poem represents a good-luck token for the bride. It is said, if you carries all of them on your wedding day, your marriage will be happy. And who doesn’t want that?!
Below are some of my favorite modern ways to incorporate this timeless tradition.
