On day two of the weekend, Laura & Jeremy had a lovely luau feast complete with hula girls, a Hawaii trio and fire and knife dancers. Guests were greeted with fresh leis and treated to Blue Hawaiians in coconut shells before sitting down to tables covered with tropical linens. The tablescapes were created out of vintage sea glass bottles we collected from a local Hilo native and fresh anthurium we picked up that morning from the street fair. The result was an effortless yet tropical celebration just casual enough to encourage guests to kick off their shoes and hula with the performers. See Steve’s gorgeous images below…

LAURA & JEREMY GET HITCHED : THE SUNSET SAIL : KONA, HAWAII
May 1, 2012 By 2 Comments
After everyone’s trek to Hawaii from all over the country, while guests are always excited to start celebrating, there’s also a little bit of jet lag that comes with these journeys. So, for the first night, Laura and Jeremy kept it low key with a private sunset sail on the Pacific. Mai Tais and coconut shrimp were everywhere and people just kicked back, got to know each other and watched the dolphins frolicking in the ocean. It was truly a special experience…And, as a PS, I never include pictures of me on the blog, but yes, that is me below enjoying the sunset and an Hawaiian Punch. Thank you to Steve Steinhardt for the amazing scenery shots!
Tomorrow is all about the welcome party. Don’t miss it!
