NICOLE & MATTHEW : THE WEDDING : HUMMINGBIRD NEST RANCH

Nicole & Matt’s wedding ceremony took place at the Good Shepherd Church in Beverly Hills before we created a beautiful celebration that evening at Hummingbird Nest Ranch. We mixed rustic woods with hotel silver and classic white blooms for a day that felt classic yet organic all at the same time. Tables donned fancy pants water decanters with charming touches like mint and lavendar. The feasting tables were filled with trays of cheese, olives and lots of bread for the feeling that we were having a dinner party in a home. And raw Italian style bulbs hung above the table for a glow that lasted all night long. After a five course meal, ending with figs & gorgonzola drizzled in honey (YUM!), the guests literally dance the night away to a 14 piece band followed by a DJ. When I say “literally”, I mean, they were still going at 4am. Check out more from Jasmine Star below:

NICOLE & MATTHEW : THE WELCOME PARTY : HUMMINGBIRD NEST RANCH

Nicole and Matt were the most lovely East Coast transplants and wanted a glamorous yet charming wedding weekend in Southern California. They welcomed their New York family and friends to the area with a quaint welcome party at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch complete with lots of wine & BBQ. We complimented the existing, exposed brick courtyard with long feasting tables, the softest, natural Belgian linen and sweet vessels filled with local blooms. END OF YEAR NOSTALGIA

Just like many of you, the end of the year brings about a certain amount of nostalgia. Looking back at all the amazing things we’ve accomplished over the year and the even more wonderful couples we’ve worked with. As we head into the new year, we wanted to say one last congratulations to the beautiful people we’ve been able to work with this year. You take us into your lives, often treating us like family members, giving us the opportunity to create a once in a lifetime moment for you and for that we will be forever grateful. It is because of you that I get to do what I love day in and out, all year round, this year and next! Thank you for allowing us to be a little piece of your worlds in 2011!
