We just love our Texas brides! You might be surprised to know that we actually work with a lot of couples from the Lone Star State and they are just a hoot. Something about our attention to the tiniest of details while still producing luxurious celebrations draws them to our aesthetic and we love it! Tara was no exception to this. She was oh so sophisticated, discerning and had an eye for the finest touches. We had the pleasure of working with her and Kurt on their amazing Big Island wedding weekend last November and it is definitely one of our favorite destination wedding weekends to date. 85 of their closest family and friends traveled from Houston to Kona and shacked up at the Four Seasons Hualalai for a weekend they will not soon forget. First up, we want to share their Aloha Party which took place in form of a Beach BBQ. Guests came, kicked off their shoes and feasted on a fusion of Hawaiian, Texas and Louisiana (the Groom’s stomping grounds) style BBQ. We had a full luau show with guests lounging right in the sand on Hawaiian quilts while drinking Mango Margaritas and Mai Tais. Enjoy the day from the camera of Steve Steinhardt.
