In June we worked with the loveliest of couples, Tess & Peter, two amazingly talented artists here in Los Angeles. The day was the perfect blend of Peter’s Louisiana roots complete with Po Boys and Beignets and Tess’s vision of a comfortable yet timeless wedding day. We found the most gorgeous Gatsbyesque home in Bel Air with an amazing view of the downtown skyline and surrounded by the beautiful gardens. Design wise, we played off of the existing era of the home while creating a residential vibe with luxe linens, woods, vintage mirrors and old golds, while bringing a modern twist with orchids of all varieties and white ceramics mixed in. In the end, the day was comfortable yet charming and overall felt like a wonderful yet effortless dinner party.
The couple hired one of our favorite photography teams, Amy & Stuart, who gave us so many breathtaking images I had a very hard time narrowing them down, obviously…Enjoy!
